GCP Data Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled GCP data engineer to fill this critical position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Pipeline Design and Implementation: Utilize BigQuery, Dataflow, DataProc, and Cloud Composer to design, build, and optimize data pipelines.
  • Big Data Analytics Solutions: Implement big data analytics solutions by leveraging Hadoop, Hive, and Spark on GCP.
  • Large-Scale Data Processing: Write efficient queries and scripts with SQL, PySpark, and Python for large-scale data processing.
  • Orchestration and Messaging Tools: Collaborate with orchestration and messaging tools like Airflow, Kafka, Git, Jenkins to manage CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, utilizing strong problem-solving skills and communication abilities.
  • Agile Methodologies: Apply agile methodologies in project delivery, utilizing data visualization tools (Tableau / MicroStrategy) for business insights.

Essential Skills:

  • GCP Data Engineering: Proven experience in GCP data engineering (BigQuery, Dataflow, DataProc, PySpark, Python, Cloud Composer).
  • Data Visualization: Proficiency with Tableau or MicroStrategy (MSTR) for reporting and dashboards.
  • Data Modeling and Optimization: Strong foundation in data modeling, optimization, and pipeline orchestration.
