Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cloud-first strategies for core initiatives
  • Provide thought leadership on process and technical matters
  • Become a champion and trusted advisor to clients on Data Engineering
  • Design, develop, deploy, and support modernized end-to-end data strategy, including infrastructure, collection, transmission, processing, and analytics
  • Mentor client teams on latest approaches, tools, and skills, and set them up for success post-delivery

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer Associate or Fabric Data Engineer Associate
  • Experience in consulting or contracting capacity in large data management programs
  • Skills in SQL Servers, data engineering on platforms like Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, and Synapse
  • Strong knowledge of Delta Lake and Lakehouse Architecture
  • Knowledge of securing Azure environment, Kafka, Spark, MS SQL environments deployed in Azure, Scala, Python, Linux administration, and scripting skills
