Key Role: Workday Consultant

  • Work closely with stakeholders and product managers to grasp requirements, processes, and business needs.

Configure Workday modules in accordance with business needs while ensuring scalability and alignment with organizational objectives.

Develop functional documentation, workflows, and support testing/UAT cycles.

Deliver timely Workday configurations and contribute to change management activities.

Act as a key resource for the team, providing leadership in establishing processes, governance, and best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, optimize solutions, and provide ongoing support.

Mentor junior consultants as the team grows.

Required Expertise:

  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant, with at least 2–3 years working with Workday configurations.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and business workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday HCM and relevant modules (certifications preferred).
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in Agile environments, sprint planning, and cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workday module certifications.
  • Prior experience in setting up offshore/remote delivery models.
  • Exposure to product management career paths.
  • Ability to mentor, lead, and establish best practices for a growing team.
  • Experience configuring and customizing other back-office SaaS platforms such as NetSuite.
