Automated Test Engineer (Python)Job Description:

We seek a seasoned professional in Python automated testing to develop and maintain test frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in automation testing, with expertise in test methodologies, Agile processes, and QA best practices.

This role is ideal for someone who excels in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality software through automated testing and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated test scripts using Python.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests.
  • Perform API testing and validate backend services using Python-based tools.
  • Document and track defects using bug tracking tools.
  • Work in Agile environments, participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6–12 years of total experience in Software QA, with at least 4 years of strong hands-on automation experience in Python.
  • Strong understanding of QA processes, testing life cycle, and test methodologies.
  • Experience with test automation tools like PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium (with Python).
  • Solid experience with API testing using Postman, Requests library, REST Assured.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
