Biztalk Integration Specialist Job Description

A Biztalk Integration Specialist is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining integration solutions using Microsoft Biztalk Server.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integration Solution Design: Design and develop integration solutions using BizTalk Server to connect disparate systems and applications.
  • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions and processes to ensure seamless communication among teams.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate systems and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Agile Development Methodologies: Participate in Agile development methodologies including Scrum and Kanban to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
  • Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing integration solutions to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in BizTalk development to remain competitive in the industry.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Integration Solution Development: Strong experience in developing integration solutions using Microsoft Biztalk Server.
  • Biztalk Administration: Expertise in BizTalk Server administration and deployment tools.
  • Integration Architecture: Excellent understanding of integration architecture patterns and principles.
  • Integration Technologies: Knowledge of XML, XSLT, and other integration technologies.
  • Database Management: Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and other relational databases.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Agile Development Methodologies: Experience with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
  • Certifications: Microsoft certifications in Biztalk Server development are a plus.
