Project 1: People Analytics

Dataset: 10,000 Applicant Data from TCS iON ATS

Objective: Analyze HR data to identify trends and insights.

Tasks:

  • Data Cleaning and Preparation: Clean and preprocess the data using Excel or Python.
  • Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Conduct EDA to understand the data distribution, identify outliers, and uncover patterns.
  • Descriptive Analytics: Calculate key HR metrics (e.g., turnover rate, time to hire, employee satisfaction).
  • Predictive Analytics: Build models to predict employee attrition, performance, and other outcomes.
  • Dashboard Creation: Develop interactive dashboards using Power BI to visualize HR insights.

Tools: Excel, Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib), Power BI

Project 2: Market Analytics

Dataset: 50,000 Struggling Firms and Companies Data

Objective: Analyze the target market and identify trends.

Tasks:

  • Data Collection: Gather data from various sources (e.g., industry reports, databases).
  • Market Segmentation: Identify target market segments based on demographics and psychographics.
  • Competitive Analysis: Analyze competitor strategies and performance.
  • Trend Analysis: Identify emerging trends and opportunities in the market.
  • Market Segmentation: Create market segmentation models using clustering techniques.

Tools: Excel, Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn), Data visualization tools

Project 3: Product Analytics

Dataset: Enterprise Digital Transformation Products and Services Data

Objective: Analyze product performance metrics.

Tasks:

  • Data Collection: Collect data from website analytics, user feedback, and sales data.
  • Key Metric Identification: Identify key product metrics (e.g., user engagement, customer satisfaction).
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data using Excel, Python, and statistical methods.
  • Dashboard Creation: Develop dashboards to visualize product performance.
  • Recommendations: Provide recommendations based on findings.

Project 4: Engineering Problem Solving

Objective: Apply engineering principles to solve business problems.

Tasks:

  • Problem Decomposition: Break down problems into smaller, manageable steps.
  • Solution Development: Develop potential solutions using engineering principles.
  • Solution Testing: Test and validate solutions using data and simulations.
  • Implementation: Implement the chosen solution.

Project 5: Consulting

Objective: Practice consulting skills and provide advice on digital transformation.

Tasks:

  • Client Understanding: Understand the client's business, challenges, and goals.
  • Industry Analysis: Research industry trends and best practices.
  • Digital Transformation Assessment: Assess the client's current digital maturity and identify opportunities.
  • Recommendation Development: Develop recommendations for digital transformation initiatives.
  • Presentation: Present findings and recommendations to the client.

Tools: Presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint), Research tools (e.g., Google Scholar)

  • Budget: INR 90,000 for technical licenses and project fees.
  • Partnerships: Cyberthrone and Bravozest Technopreneur Community will provide onboarding and joining assistance.
  • Sponsorship: HCDS Technologies will provide 25-40% sponsorship based on TCSNQT score and GD-Tech performance.
  • Self-Funded and Self-Paced: This internship is self-funded and allows for flexible learning.
