About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Full Stack Developer and Technical Lead to join our team at Goomka. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a leadership role and contribute to building cutting-edge web applications.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development using Laravel, with expertise in PHP, API, React JS, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and related frameworks. They should also have experience with Agile methodologies, leadership skills, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership
    • Drive technical excellence by defining best practices and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
    • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements and project deliverables.
    • Lead architectural decisions and ensure scalability and performance in the design.
    • Proactively identify and resolve dependencies, ensuring uninterrupted team productivity.
  • Full-Stack Development
    • Develop and maintain robust web applications using Laravel, PHP, and modern front-end frameworks.
    • Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code with proper documentation.
    • Ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end components.
    • Build reusable code libraries and implement scalable solutions for accelerated development.
  • Team Leadership
    • Manage a team of developers, offering mentorship and fostering a collaborative environment.
    • Conduct code reviews, ensuring quality and adherence to best practices.
    • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with designers, QA, and product managers to meet project goals.
  • Problem Solving & Innovation
    • Analyze and resolve technical challenges, ensuring on-time issue resolution.
    • Stay updated with emerging technologies and tools, integrating them to improve processes.
    • Perform performance optimization and debugging to meet software requirements.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
    • Document system architecture, development processes, and technical specifications.
    • Organize knowledge-sharing sessions and ensure team members stay updated with industry trends.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in full-stack development using Laravel.
  • Strong expertise in PHP, Laravel, API, React JS, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and related frameworks.
  • Proficient in MySQL and Git.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS (mandatory), Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies.
  • API development and integration.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead development teams and deliver complex projects.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including collaboration with US-based clients.

Salary Range:

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
