The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with managing and securing enterprise IT environments, with a focus on cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). They should also have experience in securing cloud and SaaS environments, familiarity with cloud and SaaS attack vectors and misconfigurations, and experience in threat modeling, identifying security vulnerabilities, and related mitigations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research emerging technologies, threats, and vulnerabilities in SaaS and enterprise products
  • Investigate logs from security systems to detect intrusions or misconfigurations and create detections based on findings
  • Write detection rules documentation with actionable recommendations for mitigations
  • Publish findings internally for customers and externally for blog/marketing needs
  • Work with customers to investigate anomalies and incidents and create custom detections

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in security research in large, complex organizations
  • Experience in managing and securing enterprise IT environments with emphasis on cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Hands-on experience with query languages (Kibana/KQL/Lucene, Splunk) and working with JSON files
