Description Summary:

This role involves leading the design and execution of various mechanical projects, ensuring their successful operation and maintenance. The individual will oversee the planning and management of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects for clients across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Design:
    • Collaborate with project teams to plan and design mechanical systems for EPC projects, considering factors such as feasibility studies, electrical requirements, and safety standards.
    • Conduct thorough assessments of mechanical and electrical needs for each project, developing specifications and standards accordingly.
  • Specification and Procurement:
    • Develop detailed electrical and mechanical specifications, working closely with suppliers to ensure compliance with project requirements.
    • Oversee the procurement process for electrical and mechanical equipment, materials, and services, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
  • Installation and Commissioning:
    • Supervise the installation and commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring they meet project specifications and safety regulations.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution, addressing any issues that may arise during installation or commissioning.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 4-12 years of experience in relevant industries.
  • Demonstrated expertise in mechanical design and project management, particularly in EPC projects.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical codes, standards, and regulations, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in using electrical design software, project management tools, and AutoCAD.
