The primary responsibilities of this position include upholding the highest standards of quality across the organization. This involves conducting and delivering training on various topics to department members, as well as arranging external training according to schedule. Furthermore, the Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for developing skill matrices aligned with required roles and responsibilities.

Maintaining Competency Standards

This role requires monitoring competency mapping scores for department members. The Quality Assurance Manager also ensures certification of final inspectors according to plan and identifies areas for improvement through PDCA analysis.

Driving Process Improvement

The Quality Assurance Manager plays a key role in identifying MPS (Maruti Production System) projects, implementing feedback suggestions, and facilitating updates to the Kaizen Website for kaizens. Additionally, this role involves coordinating visits of TQM consultants, conducting monthly TQM reviews, and ensuring implementation of review feedback at specific areas.

Establishing Best Practices

The Quality Assurance Manager introduces and establishes Six Sigma practices within the organization. This includes implementing new initiatives directed by TQM consultants and top management, as well as identifying and implementing best practices within the company.

Emphasizing Safety and Product Quality

Key responsibilities include maintaining safety audit scores, monitoring product audits of laminated and tempered glass, controlling rejections at customer's end, reviewing QACR created against product audits, verifying counter-measures from the production department, and ensuring daily process audit scores are updated.

Compliance and Continuous Improvement

The Quality Assurance Manager monitors NCRs from internal and external audits, analyzes monthly in-process rejections, and communicates with concerned persons to take corrective action. In summary, this role is pivotal in ensuring the organization meets its quality objectives and maintains a culture of continuous improvement.
