Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with senior engineering teams to design and implement major development projects.
- Interface with cross-functional teams to develop directory services for on-prem and cloud apps.
- Analyze and refine requirements with product management.
- Partner with product development, QA, and site reliability engineering teams for scoping development and deployment work.
- Design and implement core, high-performance, scalable software components.
- Conduct code reviews, analysis, and performance tuning.
- Work with QA teams to outline and implement comprehensive test coverage for broad features.
- Troubleshoot and support customer issues and debugging from logs.
- 7+ years of software development experience building highly-reliable, mission-critical software.
- Deep understanding of infrastructure-level technologies, including caching, stream processing, and resilient architectures.
- Expertise with object-oriented languages, Java, and/or Golang.
- Solid experience with data stores, relational databases, graph DB, etc.
- Experience with one or more of the following directory services: Active Directory, LDAP.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and gRPC.
- Ability to work effectively with distributed teams and people of various backgrounds.
- Experience with server-side technologies, including caching, asynchronous processing, and multi-threading.
- Experience in TDD.
- Experience with UI development or JavaScript frameworks.
- Knowledge of identity and access management protocols and technologies: OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, etc.
