Optical Networking Specialist

Are you an expert in optical networking with a passion for problem-solving and automation? We are seeking a talented Verification Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will develop test plans, automate test cases, and perform regression testing on various network interfaces like Web UI and TL1.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure high-quality optical system features.
- Identify, report, and collaborate with architects and developers to resolve software defects.
- Automate test cases to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
- Perform regression testing across different configurations and network element (NE) interfaces like WebUI and TL1.
You must have:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer science with 4+ years of relevant experience
- Strong academic background in communication and network systems,
- Familiarity with WDM optical transport systems, including OTN and packet transport.
- Experience in testing/Software automation context
- Proficiency in test automation, CAS, Python and Jenkins
It would be beneficial if you had:
- Knowledge in reporting and using collaboration tools, like Jira.
- Knowledge of TL1 and Web based UI for network Elements.
- Good knowledge of Selenium-based automation tools and frameworks is a must.
In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting complex optical networking issues and work in a dynamic environment to enhance problem-solving and analytical skills. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements and stay updated with the latest trends in optical transport and automation technologies.
