Data Engineer Tester
This is a Contract 6 Months opportunity for Data Engineer Tester role in Bangalore. Job Type : Contract 6 Months (C2H) and Notice Period : Immediate Joiners only.
Experience :
- 3+ Years of experience in Data Test Engineering/ETL Testing.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in DB related Testing and ETL Testing, with strong Python programming skills and knowledge of SQL databases such as Redshift, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Postgres, and Snowflake.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of data pipelines and databases by designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for DB related testing and ETL testing.
You will also utilize your strong Python programming skills to develop automated test scripts for data validation and pipeline testing, apply strong SQL skills to query and validate data across various databases, and work with ETL tools and libraries like Pandas and Great Expectations to ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
Candidates should have hands-on experience working with Jira for test case and defect management, good knowledge of Agile methodology, and strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
As part of our team, you will contribute to managing test artifacts within version control systems like GitLab, integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines, collaborate closely with data engineers, developers, and business analysts to understand data flows and requirements, and identify, document, and track data-related defects.
