**Software Engineer Role**

We are looking for a seasoned software engineer to join our team. As a senior backend engineer, you will be responsible for building products that redefine how daily wage workers access and manage their earnings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will wear multiple hats, contribute across the stack, and shape the engineering culture alongside our founders, product managers, designers, and senior tech leaders.
  • You will hold yourself and your teams to high engineering standards and promote best practices.
  • You will care deeply about code quality, extensibility, and testability.
  • You will understand trade-offs between speed, tech debt, and product delivery.
  • You will communicate clearly about technical topics, product implications, and progress.

Requirements:

  • Passionate about JavaScript/TypeScript and working with the NodeJS ecosystem.
  • Experienced in PostgreSQL with the ability to write and optimize raw SQL queries.
  • Familiar with Kafka, Redis, Docker containers, and AWS services.
  • Excited to learn and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and tools.
  • Able to grasp and reason through complex systems and data flows.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with Retool or low-code/internal tooling platforms.
  • Basic proficiency in Python scripting.
  • Familiarity with GitHub Actions, JIRA, secret management, or Datadog (or similar observability tools).
