Senior Tax Professional Opportunity

At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Professional to lead our tax team.

Job Description:

The Senior Tax Professional will be responsible for managing complex federal and state tax returns for high-net-worth individual clients and large engagements. This includes performing Manager-level reviews of tax returns prepared by associates, staying up-to-date with tax law changes, and applying them to tax returns.

This role also involves ensuring quality assurance for projects handled by the team, identifying technical issues on engagements, and presenting recommendations to the engagement teams.

Additionally, the Senior Tax Professional will act as the subject matter expert ('Go-To Person') and facilitate knowledge sharing among team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in accounting or a related field (e.g., CPA, Enrolled Agent)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in tax consulting or public accounting
  • Proven track record of managing complex tax engagements and leading teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
