Visual Science Specialist

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in scientific principles and the ability to communicate complex ideas through engaging visualizations.

This role requires a unique blend of creativity, technical skill, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop impactful visual content that accurately represents scientific concepts and research findings.
  • Collaborate closely with researchers, writers, and clients to ensure alignment with project objectives and client expectations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and best practices in visual science communication.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate/PhD degree in a STEM field, particularly Biology, Biotechnology, Medicine, Chemistry, Physics, or Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in scientific graphic designing, communicating science and complex research into visually engaging output.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Design Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop).
  • Experience in creating 3D designs using Blender is an added advantage.
  • Understanding of the scientific publishing and science communication landscape.
