Elevate your career as a Data Insights Analyst - Healthcare Operations

This role is part of the Cigna Enterprise Operations Analytics organization, providing actionable insights to internal and external business partners and customers. Our team offers solutions that improve customer experience, reduce costs, measure and forecast business performance, and enhance processes and procedures.

As a Business Analytics Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering advanced professional input into Business Analytics assignments/projects. You will analyze and interpret collected data, identify trends, write reports, and complete data modeling.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Create self-service reporting for business partners using Tableau.
  • Write SQL queries to ask and answer business-related questions.
  • Develop self-service reporting for business partners using Business Intelligence tools.
  • Communicate findings and coordinate with peers, leaders, and business partners.
  • Gather information regarding the business operations area by using various methods (surveys, reading reports, etc.).
  • Analyze and interpret data to discover weaknesses and identify root causes.
  • Conduct self-driven data exploration and documentation of tables, schemas, and tests.
  • Perform hypothesis testing on business partner assumptions.
  • Complete ad hoc requests for business partner data needs.
  • Identify automation opportunities to consolidate similar or repeated ad hoc requests.
  • Understand business needs to better inform reporting and analytics duties.
  • Refactor reporting to enhance performance, provide deeper insight, and answer questions.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/ Master's degree with 3-5 years in Business Analytics role or related field.
  • Experience as a Business Analytics professional is a plus.
  • Expertise in health insurance contact center operations.
  • Proficiency in Agile practices.
  • Expertise with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server.
  • Experience with Structured Query Language.
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, VBA).
  • Familiarity with Big Data Platforms (Databricks, Hadoop, AWS).
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are a must.
  • Problem-solving, consulting skills, teamwork, leadership, and creativity skills are a must.
  • Analytical mind with outstanding ability to collect and analyze data.

Salary Estimate: $80,000 - $120,000 per year.
