Job Overview:

As a Principal Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture and mentoring senior engineers.

This position involves building a holistic roadmap for data warehouse offerings, solving complex data modeling challenges, and ensuring smooth delivery of features.

You will be part of a fast-growing, innovative team driving large-scale data initiatives. The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering with 4+ years leading teams.

  • Key Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong coding expertise: Python, JVM, and Shell scripting with production-grade experience.
  • 5+ years in cloud-native, data-intensive applications with mandatory AWS expertise.
  • Proven experience in Data Warehouse design & development using modern DW tools.
  • Hands-on with Databricks and dbt (mandatory).
  • Expert in Airflow (workflow orchestration).
  • Strong experience building & maintaining Spark applications.
  • Deep understanding of file formats: Parquet, Delta Lake, OTFs.
  • Proficiency in building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD).
  • Solid knowledge of unit testing & test automation frameworks.
