Job Summary:

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding position for an Optometrist who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in optometry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient history taking involves a comprehensive assessment of the patient's systemic and ocular health.
  • Vision testing, refraction, and prescribing glasses require working under the guidance of a consultant to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Biometry and other ophthalmic investigations such as OCT, FFA, Fundus Photo, and LASER enable us to understand various aspects of eye health.
  • Assisting in LASIK operations, premium IOL/LASIK workups, requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of the procedures.
  • Training optometry students, patient counseling, follow-ups, and camp screenings are essential components of this role.
  • Proper data entry in HMIS and machine maintenance are crucial for efficient operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Optometry is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in the field is required.
  • Strong communication and patient care skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • Candidates should be capable of independently managing Vision Center operations with flexibility to work across different locations.
