Specimen Collector

We are seeking a skilled Specimen Collector to join our team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

This is a key role in our laboratory services, responsible for collecting blood samples from patients using various techniques. As a Specimen Collector, you will play a vital part in ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

• Collect blood samples from patients utilizing phlebotomy skills and best practices.
• Evaluate patient information and identify potential risks or concerns during the blood collection process.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity when interacting with patients and healthcare colleagues.
• Transport blood samples to the laboratory in a timely manner to facilitate efficient testing and analysis.

• Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field; Associate's degree or equivalent experience may be considered.
• Successful completion of a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) program or equivalent certification;
• Minimum one year of experience in phlebotomy or a related medical field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
