The role of a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist at Recro involves ensuring the highest quality standards in our mobile games. As part of our QA team, you will be responsible for end-to-end game ownership and quality assurance with a shift-left testing approach.

You will develop and maintain test strategies, regression plans, and test cases, including manual, non-functional, and automation testing. Your task will be to monitor testing efforts, identify coverage gaps, and improve quality and efficiency.

Maintaining FAQs, team wikis, and documentation on processes, tools, and scripts is also an essential part of this role.

Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end game ownership and quality assurance with a shift-left testing approach
  • Develop and maintain test strategies, regression plans, and test cases (manual, non-functional, automation)
  • Monitor testing efforts, identify coverage gaps, and improve quality and efficiency
  • Maintain FAQs, team wikis, and documentation on processes, tools, and scripts

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of functional testing experience in mobile games
  • Strong experience in game studios or feature/sprint teams
  • Proficiency in test management systems (JIRA, TestRail)
  • Knowledge of Agile testing strategies and shift-left approaches
  • Programming knowledge in Java, JavaScript, or Python (preferred)
  • Familiarity with tools like Xcode, Visual Studio, Android SDK, Unity, or Unreal
  • Understanding of client/server interactions, software architecture, and optimization
