Job Title:

We are seeking a seasoned Captain of Investments to spearhead our Wealth Management team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Business Development & Client Acquisition:
    • Lead the acquisition of High Net Worth Individuals and Families, crafting tailored investment strategies to meet their unique financial needs.
    • Promote and sell large portfolios, including PMS (Portfolio Management Services), AIFs (Alternative Investment Funds), bonds, mutual funds, and other investment products.
    • B Foster relationships with clients, understand their financial goals, and position our offerings as optimal solutions to their needs.
    • D Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to expand our wealth management business, leveraging personal networks, industry contacts, and market intelligence.
    • M Manage the sales process for large-ticket investments, offering expert guidance on portfolio construction and diversification.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value clients, ensuring an exceptional experience across all touchpoints.
    • P Provide timely and accurate solutions to client queries and concerns, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
    • R Regularly meet clients to review their portfolios, discuss market trends, and suggest adjustments based on evolving financial goals and market conditions.
    • C Cross-sell a wide range of financial products to existing clients, maximizing business opportunities.
  • Team Leadership & Expansion:
    • D Develop, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of relationship managers, client servicing professionals, and other staff members.
    • F Foster a collaborative, client-centric team culture, ensuring each member delivers exceptional service and meets client expectations.
    • A Actively recruit and onboard additional team members to expand our wealth management team and scale our business.
    • S Set clear performance goals for team members and provide regular coaching and development opportunities.
  • Investment Product Expertise:
    • M Maintain a deep understanding of various financial products such as PMS, AIFs, bonds, and mutual funds, and be able to communicate their features and benefits effectively to clients.
    • S Stay updated with developments in the stock market, including trading strategies, new investment products, and regulatory changes.
    • H Have hands-on experience with stock market trading, including an understanding of algorithmic trading strategies.
    • G Guide clients on risk management strategies, portfolio diversification, and wealth preservation techniques.
  • Sales & Performance Metrics:
    • S Set and achieve sales targets for bringing in new business and expanding existing client portfolios.
    • R Regularly track and report sales performance, client acquisition, and retention metrics to senior management.
    • A Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to identify new business opportunities and growth areas.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
    • E Ensure all client dealings and financial transactions are compliant with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
    • W Work closely with the compliance team to ensure that all wealth management strategies adhere to legal and ethical standards.
    • E Ensure the team is aligned with risk management protocols and is well-informed on market volatility and client risk tolerance.
