Job Summary:

A Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in testing tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of test plans for Layer 2 Network protocols.
  • Design and develop test plans for Layer 3 Networking protocols.
  • Design and develop test plans for MPLS/MPLS VPN, VPLS, VPWS, EVPN, VXLAN, Segment-Routing.
  • Design and develop automation for tests using automation frameworks such as ROBOT, Ansible, PyAT.
  • Implement automated protocol and traffic scale tests using traffic generators such as IXIA, Spirent Test Center.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), Computer Science (CSE).
  • Experience: 5+ years in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Experience with Python programming.
  • Experience in automation frameworks such as ROBOT, Ansible, PyATS/Genie.
  • Experience in traffic generator tools like IXIA, Spirent Test Center, TREX.
  • Experience in packet capture tools such as Wireshark, Tcpdump, Scapy.
  • Experience in Linux tool chain like Bash, sed, awk, grep, iperf.
  • Experience in package management tools like APT, YUM, DNF.
  • Good understanding of Layer 2 technology.
  • Experience in testing and debugging network protocols.
