About the Role

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines that support our business operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data systems and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data architectures and pipelines using Java, Scala, and Python
  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes using various languages and tools
  • Build and maintain data lakes and warehouses in production environments
  • Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to integrate data systems and services
  • Work with AWS-based data services technologies such as Kinesis, Glue, RDS, Athena, etc.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Requirements
  • 7+ years of software/data engineering experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in a data-focused role
  • Experience working with relational databases and proficiency in SQL
  • Knowledge of software engineering and agile development best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Snowflake CDW
  • Experience working on large-scale data initiatives
  • Knowledge of event streaming and replication/CDC patterns
