Job Title: Control Specialist This role involves performing control testing to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting. The specialist must be able to apply company policies, procedures, and accounting standards adequately. Timely decisions and seeking advice as necessary are essential. Reviews will be conducted to evaluate risk and test internal controls through an understanding of key business processes. Opportunities for best practices and improvements will be identified. The specialist will establish and maintain excellent relationships within the team and with stakeholders. Confident communication and engagement skills are required. Proficiency in using the SOXHub Tool (AuditBoard) is necessary. Clear, concise, and respectful written and verbal communication skills are essential. Required Skills:  
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management, or related field preferred.
  • Understanding of US GAAP, GAAS, Sarbanes-Oxley, COSO framework, and leading business practices.
  • Relevant experience, either within the Big 4 Audit Firm or in a multi-national organization.
  • Prior experience within Risk & Compliance or Internal Control role, finance experience is preferred.
  • Microsoft Office skills, primarily Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint.
