As a Cyber Security Ops. Specialist at BT, you will play a key role in building and maintaining our centralized security management, monitoring, and reporting platforms for our SOCs (Security Operations Centers) globally.

The platforms we manage help our SOC Analysts, Specialists, Implementation Engineers, CYSOC, project managers, and Designers deliver the best possible Managed Security Services to our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**

  1. Engage with product teams to translate business requirements into technical requirements for strategic product decisions and architectures.
  2. Have broad knowledge across technologies and services within the BT Security portfolio.
  3. Create and maintain design artefacts for internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Advise Operations teams on solution design outcomes.
  5. Be a Technical Design Authority for the platform managing all customer security devices.
  6. Work with BT architects to deliver integrations between the Platform and externally owned systems and services.
  7. Work with external vendors to identify new technologies and services for the BT Security portfolio.

**Requirements**

  • 8+yrs experience with design experience.
  • Fortinet Firewall Configuration.
  • Fortinet Forti-Analyzer configuration and management.
  • Cisco ASA Administrator.
  • Strong understanding of Network security Fundamentals & troubleshooting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications.
