Job Title

Description

  • The primary role is to provide functional support and configuration expertise in SAP FICO modules, which include General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, etc.
  • Manage and resolve incidents, service requests, and change requests related to Finance and Controlling, ensuring timely resolutions and minimizing disruptions.
  • Analyze and optimize existing business processes within the SAP landscape, identifying areas for improvement and implementing efficient solutions.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders, business users, and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions that meet the needs of the organization.
  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure high-quality results and seamless system integration.
  • Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP developers for custom developments, ensuring compliance with internal controls and documentation standards.
  • Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP products and services.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Significant experience as an SAP FICO Consultant in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.
  • Strong knowledge of core FICO processes, including financial accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, cost center accounting, and internal orders.
  • Experience with integrating FICO with MM, SD, and other SAP modules, ensuring seamless data exchange and efficient business processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with international teams or multi-country rollouts is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP Certification in FICO.
  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance and taxation, month-end/year-end closing activities, and reporting.
