Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team and help build scalable, high-performance backend applications using Python.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Core Python, experience with Django and FastAPI, and strong knowledge of database systems, including PostgreSQL and MySQL.

This role involves developing and maintaining backend applications, designing and optimizing database schemas and queries, implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms, and ensuring application performance and scalability.

Candidates must be proficient in REST APIs, microservices, and WebSockets, as well as having hands-on experience with async programming and concurrency.

In this position, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and relevant frameworks.
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with database administrators to design and optimize database schemas and queries for high-performance and scalability.
  • Develop and implement REST APIs, microservices, and WebSockets to enable seamless communication between systems.
  • Ensure application performance, fault tolerance, and scalability by applying async programming and concurrency techniques.

Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in Core Python, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and design patterns.
  • Experience with Django and FastAPI frameworks for building web applications.
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.
  • Proficiency in REST APIs, microservices, and WebSockets for enabling system communication.
  • Strong understanding of async programming and concurrency techniques for high-performance applications.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with Celery and Redis for distributed task queues and message broking.
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB and Redis.
  • Familiarity with async IO and performance optimization techniques.
