Job Description

Regional Responsibilities:

  • The primary goal of this role is to ensure loss prevention aspects and safeguard the customer experience according to company policies.
  • This cross-functional position requires deep collaboration and influencing ability with stakeholders.
  • You will be involved in regional-level engagement and operational excellence, working closely with Ops teams and other cross-functional groups.
  • Your responsibility will also include promoting Loss Prevention within the workforce using integrity and ethical methods.
  • Additionally, you will assist the reporting manager in day-to-day activities, planning, sourcing, and executing processes and procedures.

Process Improvement & Loss Prevention Program Management:

  • Process review and necessary improvements.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Ops and other cross-functional teams.
  • Detailed analysis of loss level matrices on a weekly basis.
  • Effective partnership with Operations and Support Functions to evaluate current and future business processes and initiatives.
  • Maintenance of high-quality and timely support to Operations.

Audits:

  • Updating plans and SOPs as needed.
  • Periodic checks of documentation.
  • Performing interior and exterior Loss Prevention compliance related to the site.
  • Monitoring security and Loss Prevention issues and responding promptly.

Loss Prevention Analysis:

  • Conducting thorough investigations and submitting reports efficiently.
  • Liaising with law enforcement and industry bodies to support Amazon interests.
  • Closely following up on various loss buckets and deriving mechanisms to control shrinkage.
  • Effectively addressing safety and security incidents, including potential and actual workplace violence incidents.
  • Conducting testing of incident response plans.
  • Enhancing, tracking, and reporting on key performance indicators.
  • Coordinating with Worldwide Operations Security Team, IT Security, and other support teams as needed.
  • Participating in weekly calls with L3/Ops to discuss planning and progress.
  • Assisting with internal and external theft or fraud investigations and conducting interviews.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduation with at least 2-3 years of experience in the field of Security, Loss Prevention, Shrinkage, Asset Protection, Investigations, or Inventory.
  • University degree level or equivalent experience and professional certification.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in law enforcement or a security-related profession.
  • Extensive knowledge of security equipment and technology.
  • Experience in managing or coordinating complex security investigations.
  • Knowledge of information security processes and systems.
  • Experience in security auditing.
  • Familiarity with MNC culture and dynamics.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
