As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of employee payroll. Your responsibilities will include processing payroll for all employees, maintaining accurate records in HRIS/payroll systems, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and tax regulations.

You will work closely with the HR team to coordinate employee onboarding/offboarding, promotions, and other payroll-impacting changes. Additionally, you will handle payroll deductions, benefits, garnishments, bonuses, and other compensation-related components.

To ensure the highest level of accuracy, you will prepare and review payroll reports for internal use and external audits. You will also respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes, and earnings.

Furthermore, you will collaborate with the Finance team to reconcile payroll-related accounts and assist with year-end activities such as tax form distribution.

To be successful in this role, you must have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. You should also be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of payroll processing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll software and HRIS systems.
  • Familiarity with local labor laws and payroll compliance regulations.
