Job Description

The QA Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, executing, and managing testing processes for high-quality trading platforms.

This involves software testing, performance analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the robustness of trading systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive testing strategies for trading systems.
  • Perform functional, performance, regression, and security testing.
  • Develop and execute test cases, scripts, and procedures.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Work closely with development teams to investigate issues, reproduce defects, and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Conduct regression, functional, and performance testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Improve QA processes, including automation and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Review requirements and technical documents for feedback.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
  • Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Monitor and report key metrics related to software quality and system performance.
  • Ensure trading systems comply with industry standards and best practices.

Estimated Salary: ₹600,000 - ₹900,000 per annum

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python or Java.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks tools like Selenium, JMeter, or similar.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
  • Understanding of financial markets and trading systems (preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
