Job Title: Mechanical CAD Engineer

About the Role:

We seek a skilled mechanical CAD engineer to focus on precision part design and documentation for CNC-machined and cast components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting simulations and tests to validate designs, creating technical drawings and documentation,
  • Applying GD&T per ISO, ASME Y14.5 standards to define form, fit, and function of parts
  • Collaborating with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to iterate on designs
  • Supporting design reviews and providing technical input on manufacturability

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2–7 years of hands-on experience in 2D mechanical engineering for products from prototype to production, with a primary focus on CNC machining and casting
  • Proficient in SOLIDWORKS and other CAD software i.e. NX, CATIA
  • Strong working knowledge of GD&T principles
  • ISO or ASME Y14.5 certification is strongly preferred but not mandatory
