Job Title

SOA Admin Specialist

Total IT Experience: 4 to 8 years in IT roles with increasing responsibility.

Relevant SOA Administration experience: Minimum 4 years of hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion Middleware Administration and WebLogic SOA for various environments, including Dev, QA, UAT, PPE, and Production.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and configure Oracle SOA Suite in both Cluster and Standalone environments, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Upgrade 12c environments with a focus on upgrading from 12.2.1.3 to 12.2.1.4, adhering to established best practices and guidelines.
  • Configure and manage JDBC Data Sources, JMS Queues, Topics, and Connection Factories, ensuring seamless integration and data exchange.
  • Install and configure WebLogic Servers in a Cluster environment for High Availability, Load Balancing, Session Replication, JDBC Connection Pools, Scalability, and Fail-over support, guaranteeing minimal downtime and maximum system efficiency.
  • Manage Disaster Recovery fail-over/fail-back activities, ensuring business continuity and minimizing potential losses.
  • Work on LDAP integration with WebLogic 12c Application Server, enhancing security and authentication capabilities.
  • Analyze and tune JVM heap and GC algorithms, optimizing system performance and resource utilization.
  • Manage WebLogic SSL Certificates, maintaining trust and confidentiality in data exchange.
  • Apply patches for WebLogic Server using O-Patch Utilities, ensuring systems remain up-to-date and secure.
  • Troubleshoot WebLogic SOA-related issues from Log files, incidents, diagnostic tests, and thread dumps, providing timely resolutions and preventing potential downtime.
  • Configure Work Managers in WebLogic 12c to optimize performance of Applications and maintain service-level agreements, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
  • Purge old instances and reclaim unused free space by executing DB queries, improving system efficiency and reducing storage needs.
  • Automate daily activities using shell scripts and have knowledge on Oracle DB queries related to WebLogic SOA Administration, streamlining processes and reducing manual effort.
  • Have knowledge on Oracle HTTP and Apache web servers, enabling smooth interaction and data exchange between systems.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel, other groups, and flexibility to work on rotational shifts, demonstrating adaptability and teamwork.
  • Provide 24/7 basis on-call support for production, ensuring prompt response and resolution to critical issues.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware Administration, WebLogic SOA for Dev, QA, UAT, PPE, and Production Environments, with a proven track record of success.
