Job Title: Investment Professional

Department: Finance and Investments

Business Area: Asset Management

Designation: Senior Analyst/Manager

Reports to: Global Head of Investments

  • Our organization requires effective management of surplus funds.
  • The Treasury department is mandated to invest and achieve targeted returns.
  • We have a dedicated investment team following our investment policy, making informed decisions on investments.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop in-depth understanding of companies and sectors through detailed financial modeling and continuous monitoring.
  2. Analyze financial reports including balance sheets and cash flow statements.
  3. Create an investment thesis based on thorough analysis of financial statements.
  4. Conduct market and portfolio analysis to support equity investment decisions.
  5. Provide ongoing coverage of assigned industry sectors and individual stocks; monitor earnings results and corporate actions.
  6. Assess the impact of macro events on stock movements and directions.
  7. Collaborate with investment back-office teams for timely trade processing.
  8. Stay up-to-date with market conditions, conducting research on economic, social, and financial data.
  9. Maintain and update portfolios regularly.
  10. Evaluate startup companies and prepare a comprehensive report highlighting opportunities and risks.
  11. Stay informed about industry developments and regulatory changes.

Key Interfaces:

  • Internal Interfaces: Front office of Treasury Team, Group Treasurer, Finance Team across the company.
  • External Interfaces: Wealth Advisors, Mutual Funds, Auditors, Consultants.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Full-time MBA in Finance with a minimum of 8-12 years of experience.
  • Working experience with SAP system.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good listening skills.
