Enterprise WordPress Lead Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Enterprise WordPress Lead Engineer to spearhead the design, development, and delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end WordPress development projects, ensuring timely delivery, code reviews, and maintaining documentation for technical implementations.
  • Architect and implement custom themes, plugins, and integrations tailored to business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX, design, QA, and DevOps to deliver seamless CMS experiences.
  • Evaluate and recommend modern CMS solutions, including headless CMS platforms, based on project needs.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, driving best practices in coding, performance optimization, and security.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in WordPress architecture, plugin development, and custom theme creation.
  • Hands-on experience with PHP, JavaScript (React/Node.js), HTML5, CSS3, REST/GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager or other enterprise CMS platforms.
  • Exposure to Headless CMS (e.g., Webiny, Contentful, Strapi, Sanity, etc.).
  • Familiarity with cloud hosting (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and client interaction skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with flexibility to work on any CMS platform as required.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a technical team.
