We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our financial data platform.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and developing big data systems using Apache Spark and Hive, as well as architecting high-quality code and software engineering processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing the financial data platform
  • Providing technical guidance to teams and working closely with management and stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps
  • Managing individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with technical expertise
  • Mentoring and training team members on design techniques and coding standards
  • Writing high-quality, well-tested code to meet customer needs

Required skills and qualifications:

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience
  • 2+ years of experience architecting big data systems using Apache Spark and Hive
  • Experience uplevelling junior engineers via processes and setting high bars for them to follow
  • Knowledge of high-quality code and software engineering processes, with the ability to foster such an environment
  • Passion for building an open financial system that brings the world together

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with Golang, gRPC, Docker, SnowFlake, Databricks, and advanced SQL
  • Experience working with finance and accounting teams
