Job Description

As an Indirect Tax Compliance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our indirect tax function. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the entire indirect tax function, including compliance, advisory, litigation, and strategic planning.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate filing of GST returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C.
  • Monitoring tax payment schedules and ensuring compliance with regulatory deadlines.
  • Oversight of GST input tax credit (ITC) reconciliation and addressing mismatches effectively.
  • Representing the company before GST authorities, appellate bodies, and tribunals in case of disputes or litigation.
  • Preparing and reviewing responses to notices, audits, and inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Conducting periodic GST audits to identify and rectify discrepancies.
  • Recommendations for improvements in GST compliance and reporting processes.


Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (BCOM) and have at least 8 years of experience in a similar field. They should also demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
