Job Opportunity: Financial Reporting Specialist

The role of a financial reporting specialist is to provide critical support to the organization by analyzing and presenting financial data in a clear and concise manner.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support Financial Planning and Analysis Activities: The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analytics, and reporting.
  • Analyze Financial Data: Analyze financial data to identify trends, key drivers, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare Financial Reports: Prepare and present financial reports to management for informed decision-making.
  • Develop Financial Models: Develop financial models and pro-formas to support business decisions.
  • Suspend Month-End Close Activities: Suspend month-end close activities, including accrual calculations, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, sales, operations) to provide financial insights for decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: A bachelor's degree or MBA in accounting, finance, or commerce with prior experience in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Proficient in MS Excel, including pivot tables and formulas. Possess some knowledge in BI (Power BI), dashboarding, and preparing reports. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Personal Attributes: Energetic and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and achieve set goals and targets within deadlines.
