Job Title: Cloud Data Expert

We're seeking a skilled Cloud Data Expert to lead data platform solutions across cloud migration, modernization, and greenfield builds. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to drive data architecture strategy and deliver cutting-edge data solutions.

About the Role:
  • Design end-to-end cloud data architectures based on business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Lead cloud-based data modernization and migration projects with minimal downtime strategies, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal performance.
  • Define work breakdowns, effort estimates, deployment, and rollback plans to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear, scalable data solutions that meet the needs of stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and guide engineers with hands-on leadership to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Storage, Azure IAM, and other relevant cloud services.
  • Strong coding skills in SQL, PySpark, and Python, with experience in ETL/ELT development, data modeling, and data quality validation.
  • Problem-solving expertise in real-world scenarios, including legacy system migration and ERP/CRM data ingestion.
  • Excellent communication skills to clarify vague or evolving requirements and drive stakeholder engagement.
Good-to-Have Skills:
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, DirectLake, Lakehouse) and Azure Databricks, Purview, OpenAI, and Log Analytics.
  • Data governance and DevOps/DataOps best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
