About the Job

This role involves driving authored article content, leading media outreach efforts, and providing strategic inputs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Share key points after meetings with clients or partners.
  • Develop relevant and strategic content, including pitch notes, based on business objectives.
  • Drive the creation and implementation of quarterly and annual review plans for clients.
  • Lead the team in media outreach, leveraging media intelligence to identify opportunities.
  • Builtd and maintain relationships with 35 journalists per year, from principal correspondents to editors.
  • Ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met on a weekly basis, allowing for timely remedial actions if needed.
  • Maintain error-free reporting, including WIP reports, monthly reports, and salient points of WIP calls and quarterly plans.
  • Lead Weekly Meetings with Partners.
  • Understand the business objectives of clients and devise PR strategies accordingly.
  • Provide counsel on media opportunities and tactful responses to client inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with client Point of Contacts (POCs).
  • Ensure client satisfaction is consistently above 8/10.
  • Mentor and train junior team members.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration within the team.
  • Conduct at least three training sessions per fiscal year.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 4-7 years of experience in public relations management.
  • Strong understanding of business objectives and how to develop PR strategies aligned with them.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and journalists.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and lead teams effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
