Job Title: Data Analyst-Python Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with expertise in Python programming to join our team. As a key member of our data management group, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Laboratory Data Management (LDM) tasks for studies awarded to IQVIA Laboratories.

Your primary focus will be on providing comprehensive clinical lab data expertise as part of a team to develop and maintain LDM tasks, meeting external client data reporting needs. You may be required to support the development of new systems and processes related to electronic data transfer, or the configuration of business rules and master data in study and laboratory information systems.

You will work closely with internal and external team members to ensure that timelines are met and that data is delivered following company guidelines and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain good communications and working relationships with LDM team members.
  • Create and/or review all appropriate data management documents.
  • Understand and comply with core standard operating procedures and working instructions.
  • Interact with internal and external team members to negotiate timelines and responsibilities.
  • Train and mentor junior staff in DM expertise.
  • Ensure service and quality meet agreed upon timelines and deliverables in data transmission agreements.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Data Management and Python Programming.
  • Basic knowledge of Python Programming and Data Management procedures obtained through prior work experience or education.
