Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled 3D Administrator to join our BIM Department in Bangalore. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Technical leadership and coordination of the Process Design Team to achieve project deliverables;
  • Input to the BIM Execution Plan;
  • 3D process project set-up and support admin for Process Piping Group on projects across multiple offices;
  • Loading and maintaining design software and updates;
  • Establishing and agreeing project co-ordinate systems, units, area model breakdowns, and maintaining project models throughout the project;
  • Maintaining model file indexes and file management documentation;
  • Establishing and maintaining project-specific access user groups;
  • Developing and managing project pipe specifications and catalogues;
  • Developing and managing project pipe support specifications and catalogues;
  • Developing and managing non-spec items and instruments;
  • Developing and managing custom data;
  • Developing and managing project reporting;
  • Microsoft Access capabilities, coding, and automation;
  • Developing and managing isometric set-ups;
  • Developing and managing isometric control;
  • Developing and managing project work instructions and job notes;
  • Managing and maintaining auditing of project models;
  • Setting up and maintaining exports from Process to all discipline software;
  • Setting up and maintaining review software (NavisWorks, Review, Clash);
  • Integrating vendors' third-party design models and information;
  • Troubleshooting, problem-solving, and supporting the design team;
  • Communicating across multiple discipline teams;
  • Attending weekly modeling meetings to review model progress or issues;
  • Successfully managing time to maximize efficiency and meet deadlines;
  • Being a self-starter who pursues continued professional development in BIM software and processes.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A degree in Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience in EPC design consultancy firms;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Experience with other software such as CADWorx, S3D, Plant3D, Autocad, Microstation, Navisworks, and Revit integration (desirable but not essential);
  • At least 5 years of experience in 3D administration activities;
  • Excellent time management skills.
