About this role:

A highly skilled and experienced cloud engineer is needed to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud-based systems using AWS technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python programming and experience with serverless architecture, including AWS Lambda and API Gateway.

They will also be proficient in Amazon OpenSearch, with knowledge of Solr and Elasticsearch query languages and indexing strategies.

Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD workflows is also essential.

This role requires someone who can work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality solutions on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure cloud-based systems
  • Develop and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda and API Gateway
  • Implement and manage Amazon OpenSearch, including data modeling and search optimization
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time
  • Collaborate with the development team to design and implement new features and functionality

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong background in Python programming
  • Experience with serverless architecture, including AWS Lambda and API Gateway
  • Proficiency in Amazon OpenSearch, with knowledge of Solr and Elasticsearch query languages and indexing strategies
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD workflows
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and principles
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
