Cloud Architect Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary Cloud Chief Architect to lead our cloud strategy and drive innovation in a dynamic environment.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will possess extensive IT experience, with at least 5 years in a Technical Architect role, demonstrating a proven track record of designing and implementing sophisticated cloud architectures.

  • Define and articulate the overarching cloud architectural vision and strategy for Getronics' offerings and client engagements.
  • Develop and maintain multi-year cloud technology roadmaps, ensuring alignment with industry trends, emerging technologies, and business objectives.
  • Lead the evaluation and adoption of new cloud technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance Getronics' competitive edge.
  • Understand complex client business challenges and translate them into effective, innovative cloud-based technical strategies and solutions.
  • Articulate the value proposition of Getronics' cloud solutions, demonstrating how they address client needs for predictability, security, resilience, performance, and cost-efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with cloud-native architecture patterns, microservices, API management, and event-driven architectures.
  • Proficiency in DevOps principles and tools (CI/CD, IaC - Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation/ARM Templates).
  • Solid understanding of FinOps principles and cloud cost management/optimization strategies.
  • Demonstrable experience leading technical discussions with C-level executives and influencing strategic decisions.
  • Professional or Expert-level certifications from AWS (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional) and/or Azure.
