**Job Description:**

As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for testing and ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and reliability of our accounting software. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and test coverage.

Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping, ledgers, and taxation processes. They are detail-oriented and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Review business and accounting requirements to design and execute test cases for accounting software.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing on financial modules (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Taxation, Payroll).
  • Validate that double-entry bookkeeping principles are applied correctly across all transactions.
  • Ensure accurate posting, balancing, and reconciliation of ledgers.
  • Test compliance with relevant tax rules and regulations.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CA/ACCA certification preferred).

Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho) and experience in software testing or QA is an advantage.

Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) is desirable.
