Job Description:

As a Cost Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by optimizing cost management and analysis processes.

  • Develop and implement effective cost accounting systems to ensure accurate calculation of product costs, manufacturing overheads, and cost of goods sold (COGS).
  • Oversee the cost accounting function, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of comprehensive cost budgets and forecasts that align with business goals.
  • Perform detailed cost variance analysis, identify areas for cost reduction, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data for cost tracking and forecasting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Certified Accountant (CA) or equivalent certification is required.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in cost accounting, costing management, or financial analysis in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proven expertise in managing costing systems, preparing budgets, performing variance analysis, and generating detailed cost reports.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including macros, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
