Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing new or improving existing electron-beam imaging products for the semiconductor equipment market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing new designs by specifying software, algorithm, and hardware requirements followed by characterization, product integration, and maintenance.
  • Gaining a detailed functional understanding of the entire product and working independently to devise and drive innovative analyses and solutions for complex problems.
  • Participating in remote and on-site customer support, including fly and fix trips to customer sites in Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, etc.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Doctorate/Master's degree in Physics, Engineering Physics, Engineering Design, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Materials and Metallurgical Engineering.
  • Knowledge in instrumentation, signal processing, and optical/electro-optical systems such as electron microscopes.
  • Experience with vacuum systems, electron optics, and high voltage for scanning electron microscopes or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience in machine control and/or scientific data analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability in setting-up experiments, modeling, and data analysis, solving complex technical problems.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (MATLAB, Python, others) for scientific data collection and analysis.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to create effective technical presentations.
