Job Description:

  • Maintain the smooth operation of machinery used in nutraceutical manufacturing, adhering to standardized operating procedures.
  • Set up and calibrate machines to ensure accurate and efficient production, following guidelines and regulations.
  • Conduct routine equipment checks to identify potential issues and prevent downtime, ensuring continuous production.
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain product standards during machine operations, complying with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines.
  • Record and analyze machine operating data, production outputs, and downtime logs to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Coordinate material feeding, changeovers, and line clearance processes according to requirements, minimizing waste and optimizing production.
  • Promptly report and escalate equipment malfunctions, breakdowns, or abnormalities, initiating corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to support preventive and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring optimal equipment performance.
  • Maintain a safe and compliant working environment by adhering to Good Hygienic Practices (GHP) and safety standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of machine operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting principles.
  • Knowledge of food safety, quality control, and hygienic practices, including regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarity with GMP, GHP, HACCP, and relevant regulatory guidelines.
  • Ability to accurately conduct and document in-process checks, maintaining high levels of precision and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, facilitating collaboration with supervisors, QA, and maintenance teams.
