Game Design and Animation Faculty Position

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our faculty as a Game Design and Animation specialist. The ideal candidate will bring strong academic and professional expertise in game development, animation, and interactive media.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and talented individual to contribute to the growth and development of our programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and Curriculum Development: Develop and teach core courses in game design, animation, and interactive programming, ensuring that students gain a solid understanding of industry-standard practices and techniques.
  • Mentorship and Student Support: Mentor students in game development projects and industry-linked internships, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Course Planning and Quality Assurance: Coordinate curriculum delivery, planning, and quality assurance, ensuring that courses meet the highest standards of academic excellence.
  • Industry Collaboration: Lead collaborations with industry partners, supporting faculty development and fostering relationships that benefit both parties.
  • Event Organization: Organize game jams, showcases, and co-curricular industry events, providing opportunities for students to showcase their skills and connect with industry professionals.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Master's degree in Game Design, Animation, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant academic or industry experience, demonstrating a strong portfolio of game/interactive projects and/or published work.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong knowledge of gameplay mechanics, UI/UX for games, and interactive media; proficiency in programming languages such as C#, C++, Python, JavaScript; experience with game engines and tools: Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, Blender.
  • Leadership and Communication: Excellent communication and team leadership skills, with the ability to lead teams, coordinate across departments, and manage academic operations effectively.
