Job Title: Deputy Manager - Purchase

Matrimony.Com Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Deputy Manager - Purchase to join our team in Chennai. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring cost-effective purchase of all materials and services as required by the procurement plan of the organization, while ensuring quality control and compliance with the organization's policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing daily purchase activities and supplier relations
  • Preparing empanelled vendor database/suppliers master
  • Vendor documents validation and ensure related statutory compliance
  • Ensuring the release of PR/PO within TAT as per DOA
  • Maintaining Budget Vs Actuals for each PR and Invoices etc.
  • Vendor negotiation for better quality and price etc.
  • Monitoring MSME vendor Payments
  • Providing expenses accrual/provisions on time for books closure
  • Purchase MIS and Process automation initiative
  • Improve purchase function related internal control
Requirements:
  • Excellent negotiation skill
  • Well-versed in MS Excel
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Analytical skills to present insights to management with regard to purchase function
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and task orientation
  • Ability to run the automation agenda
  • Well-versed with dealing with accounting packages such as Oracle/SAP
